Good news- we found the little guy in red and white striped shirt everyone is searching for! Waldo is our Adoptable Dog of the Week, and he is a 5-year-old Poodle mix from Wethersfield, Connecticut. This lovely fella is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Waldo’s Tale

Waldo escaped euthanasia at the local shelter thanks to his rescuers. This affectionate, smart pooch literally ran out of the kennel and hugged the humans who gave him a second chance!

After a few weeks with his foster family, Waldo really blossomed. His amazing personality really shone through and if you had to describe it in 3 words it would be cuddly, smart, and full of love! This curly boy loves everyone he meets, including other dogs and cats- Waldo wants to be everyone’s friend.

Even though Waldo has enough love to spare, his rescuers recommend him to families with older children, as he is still learning how to politely share his toys.

Eager to learn and charm people, Waldo is a quick study. He already knows some basic commands and he is almost finished with housebreaking and crate training. This bright little guy hopes for a furrever family that would love to teach him a trick or two. And, of course, shower him with love and cuddles. Don’t worry, he’ll remind you if you start slacking off in the cuddling department- with a nose nudge or two!

People who are interested in becoming Waldo’s forever family can find out more about how to adopt him on One More Dog Rescue’s website.
